The Adirondack Carousel |
I visited a merry-go-round today; although, I prefer to call it a carousel. The French word seems to add a little panache to this timeless ride. This carousel is particularly unique because all the hand carved animal are ones found in the Adirondack Park and furthermore, they are decorated with items found there. Also, a ladybug can be found somewhere on each one. From turtle to red squirrel to porcupine and moose, it is a veritable rotating forest . The cost is minimal and I paid two admissions forward. What great entertainment for young and old alike. Yes, I did go for a ride; I chose the brook trout!
