I sent out some greeting cards today to wish family and friends happy Thanksgiving. One of these cards was mailed to a stranger. Her name was given to me by a friend as someone whose house was destroyed by Superstorm Sandy and still has not been able to return home. I wrote a simple message conveying that she and the other victims of these natural disasters have not been forgotten. I hope that my card will brighten her day, but more importantly I trust that all will work out and she will soonbe able to move back to her community that means so much to her.
