I hadn't taken the opportunity to truly welcome a couple to our area; although, they have lived here for a few months now. There was a recipe which I had promised to give to the woman, and when I learned yesterday that her husband wanted to read a book that I had two copies of, I knew it was time to stop by their house. I packaged up the two items and drove over to deliver them. She was happy to see me at the door, and delighted with the gifts. It is always fun to surprise a neighborhood newbie with a little gift.
