It was twenty-seven years ago this week that we moved into our house in this quiet village in the North Country. Little did we know that we would raise three children here and become well established as accepted "outsiders" by the locals. Today, I wrote a thank you note to the employees of this community expressing that we appreciate their hard work in keeping this a safe, clean, and friendly place to live. The office staff, superintendent, and DPW crew are dedicated to always doing the best job possible. They seemed pleased this morning when I dropped off the note along with some blueberry muffins to let them know I applaud their service. Take a minute to tell those municipal employees near you
how much you appreciate their performance. You will brighten their day!
